Bay Path College One America 2012

Bay Path College is a progressive, private woman's college in New England. Students are known by name and not a number on our campus. We offer a broad array of experiential opportunities to augment your in-class learning. Experiences range from internships to international, semester-long travel to short-term U.S. travel such as this 3 credit class and community service project on wheels.

We are The New American Woman's College. Hope you'll hop on board with us some year!

Michelina Shows Us the Way

For some of us that had never shucked before, Michelina, who grew up going to Cape Cod, was a key instructor.

Steaming Oysters

When you order a tray of oysters they give you a number and then you go outside and under the building to collect your steamed bits of heaven. They are steamed under wet burlap (the mound on the right.)

On the half shell

All around the restaurant are piles and piles of oyster shells.

Sunset at Bowens Island

We race to the tip of the island just in time for sunset.

Crack 'E Teet

On the Gullah Tour in Charleston we learn about Gullah language and the African American experience in Charleston. The above expression means "don't gossip".

The Marshall House

Our hotel was a former Civil War hospital. Haunted, of course.
