Finally, Authentic Southern Food

We've been eating a lot of sandwiches. Excited to be here for some mud bugs, cinnamon rolls and fried green tomatoes.

Boxes must all have same contents

Dry milk, cans of tomatoes, peaches, apple juice, macaroni, beans and cereal. Each station is responsible for one item.

Ready to roll

We perform community service at the Atlanta Food Bank. We box up 425 boxes of food weighing 13,600 lbs to serve 9,066 senior citizens during our shift.

Brief briefing

From Hadiza Saad who is a current BPC student performing her internship at the Center for Disease Control in Atlanta. She is working with the Rotavirus Surveillence Team to genotype strains of rotavirus, the number one cause of diarrhea in children worldwide resulting in thousands of deaths per year.

Is the Carter Center. Dr. John Hardman is the Executive Director and he gives us a briefing on the important work of the Center. He has worked closely with former President Carter for the past 23 years. Thank you, Judy Collins, for making this introduction.

A graduate from 2000, Yasmin Antoine, who lives in Atlanta joins us for a quick visit. She presents to the group her tips for career success. Yas is currently pursuing her reaffirmed desire to become an attorney. She is a first year student at U. Georgia Law.
