Brown Chapel AME Church

This National Historic site figured prominently during the three-month
voting rights campaign of 1965. Martin Luther King Jr., Ralph
Abernathy, Malcolm X, and other leaders spoke inside, and led daily
marches in an attempt to register to vote.
